03/21/2026 Light Maintenance Day at Tim's house A chance to do any minor work needed before the drive season begins.
03/22/2026 Spring Tune-Up
03/28/2026 Key West Excursion. A 5-6 day trip south via the Auto Train and US Highway 1 to Key West.
04/11/2026 Blue Ridge Hunt (Horse races)
04/17/2026 Durham Bulls Game (Friday night sleepover). A trip to Durham to see Minor League Baseball. There will be a quiz on the movie "Bull Durham", and I will buy a beer and a hat for the winner.
04/25/2026 Ride Along the River. A drive from Potomac MD to Urbana MD along the Potomac, with lunch at the end.
04/26/2026 A Celebration of Life. A drive to Charlottesville to remember Jodie Routt and what she meant to us.
05/09/2026 Duvall Memorial A&E (Alcohol and Exercise). A drive to Skyline Brewery and the Little Washington Winery for a round of disc golf, and drinks and fellowship in memory of Consigliere Robert Duvall.
05/30/2026 Private Track Attack at Dominion Raceway. Cost of $2400 will be shared amongst cars.
06/07/2026 Tri-State Tunnel Drive. A drive through VA and WV, ending in MD. We'll visit (and walk through) the tunnel on the C&O Canal.
06/13/2026 Ocean City Airshow. A visit to Ocean City to watch the airshow - this year featuring the USAF Thunderbirds.
06/15/2026 Big Boy In Steamtown. A visit to Steamtown National Historic Site to see the Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014, the largest operating steam locomotive.
06/20/2026 AACA Cruise-In. AACA Cruise-In. Our annual trip to the Bill Smith Memorial Car Show at the AACA museum.
07/05/2026 4th of July with Bald Eagles. A drive to Moorefield WV and a ride on a train along the Potomac's South Branch where Bald Eagles nest. Then more fun driving ending up at the Farm Brewery.
07/07/2026 Big Boy Interception. A drive to PA to see the Union Pacific Big Boy No. 4014 in motion as it heads west from King of Prussia to Enola.
07/10/2026 Back of the Dragon Overnight - This drive was cancelled due to weather - expect a rescheduling in early October
08/08/2026 Fort Valley Road (with Lunch and Luray Caverns)
08/12/2026 Skyline by Starlight - a post-dinner and post sunset trip along the Skyline Drive.
08/16/2026 Knoebel's Amusement Park. Drive north along the Susquehanna and visit America's most beloved amusement park on it's 100th Anniversary.
08/22/2026 Lucki Mazda Opening Party - A visit to a new Mazda dealership servicing our area.
09/05/2026 Skyline and a Fire Tower Hike - Skyline Drive from US211 to US33 with option for climb to High Knob Fire Tower
09/11/2026 Flight 93 National Memorial 25th Service of Remembrance - A day trip to the Flight 93 National Memorial
9/18/2026 - 9/22/2026 Galileo Getaway - September Excursion to Ticonderoga to see the Start Trek Set and the Shuttle Galileo and Lake Placid for foliage
9/26/2026 Light Maintenance Day at Tim's house A chance to do any minor work needed as the drive season comes to a close.
10/3/2026 Rescheduled Back of the Dragon Overnight. A scenic drive down on Saturday, with spirited driving and drive home on Sunday.
10/10/2026 West Virginia Adventures. Overnight Drive to the River Gorge Bridge and a visit to the Exhibition Coal Mine in Beckley WV
10/17/2026 MSCW Annual Picnic (no signup) - Join MSCW associates and friends for a day of Mazdas, food, games, and socializing at the Brownsville Picnic Area, Manassas National Battlefield Park.
October 2026 End-of-Season drive and cookout/fire pit at Tim's house.
December 2026 Christmas Chilling Cruise - likely to Longwood, PA.
